Nissan 350Z Roadster

Highlight

The 350Z ROADSTER employs cutting edge technology to make the most of traditional sports car values. A new all-alloy engine makes exploiting the brilliantly balanced handling easier while state-of-the-art aerodynamics ensure going topless is always a pleasure.

The headlights employ the latest bi-xenon technology for improved safety. At night increased beam width improves vision to the side while projector mountings let you focus further up the road, giving more time to react to potential danger.

You can lift the lid on the 350Z ROADSTER in 20 seconds. When the vinyl roof’s up, a single-latch triple-lock system keeps the cabin wind and water tight, even at high speed. And there’s a heated glass rear window for good visibility in all conditions. At the push of a button the soft top automatically stows behind the front seats beneath a lightweight tonneau that incorporates a pair of racy looking aerodynamic humps.

Interior & Exterior

From the outside the 350Z ROADSTER is as eye-catching to look at as it is entertaining to drive. Inside the well-equipped cabin the ride is as comfortable as it is thrilling.

The emphasis inside the 350Z ROADSTER is on form and function. An example is the redesigned centre console which is easier to access, thereby improving storage for both driver and passenger. We’ve even illuminated the cup holders and ignition key lock so they’re easier to find at night.

Close attention has been paid to the design of every detail on the 350Z ROADSTER. From the sweep of the headlamps to the contours of the uniquely designed door handles; the twin exhausts sculpted from stainless steel to the wind-cheating wing mirrors. Making the most of this work of art are three new metallic colours: Twilight Grey, Night Blue and dynamic Rosso Red.

Performance

The throaty exhaust note, punchy acceleration, poise and grip round corners and awesome stopping power all betray the 350Z ROADSTER’s sports car credentials.

The 3.5-litre V6 beneath the bonnet doesn’t rely on turbochargers and superchargers. We wanted to keep it as pure as possible to maximise driver enjoyment. So we applied racing car technology to the new all-alloy engine. The result is a muscular 313PS power plant that pulls strongly in any gear from low in the rev range all the way to the 7,500rpm limit.

The 350Z ROADSTER’s weight has been deliberately spread to ensure the handling puts a smile on your face. By having a low centre of gravity and mid-platform weight distribution, traction on the turn-in to corners is maximised. Under acceleration out of a bend, weight shifts to the rear, boosting grip to the wheels that transmit power to the road.

Safety

Precise handling, powerful braking and racing car inspired safety features give drivers the confidence to enjoy the 350Z ROADSTER’s ample talents.

When you hit the middle pedal on the 350Z ROADSTER, rest assured that state of the art systems will bring you to a halt. Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) allocates maximum braking to the wheels with the most grip. In an emergency Nissan Brake Assist (NBA) applies extra stopping pressure to the pedal. And the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) prevents wheels locking so the driver retains steering control.

For extra reassurance the 350Z ROADSTER is equipped with front and side airbags. This advanced passenger protection system can determine impact levels and deploy the airbag with the minimum force necessary for maximum safety.
